- Once Qstream has set up the client’s portal, they will automatically give the Editorial Specialist team access to the site so that they can upload the custom question set.
- Once the ES has uploaded the questions, click on the appropriate Qstream on the client’s page to review the questions. Click on each question and make sure that everyone has loaded properly.
- IMPORTANT: Make sure that each answer choice has a letter at the beginning of it, and check the correct answer.
- IMPORTANT: Always uncheck the “Randomize the order of choices for each participant” option so that A, B, C, and D appear in the correct order.
- Make sure that the question topic is in the field underneath the explanation. These question topics are pulled into the QuickCheck reports, so they need to be filled in.
- Next, publish the questions under the “Publishing” tab and change the Qstream Status to “Published,” remembering to save. You can also adjust Leaderboard settings on this page as well (i.e., tag certain users or managers to not appear on the Leaderboard, set up more than one Leaderboard, etc.)
- Enter the appropriate column heading from your roster under the leaderboard team tag option in order to break out the client’s leaderboards appropriately (i.e. by class date, manager name, region, etc.). This is specific to a client, but by class date is the recommended option for most clients.
- Adjust the spacing of questions, if needed, under the “Spacing” tab (i.e., frequency of questions, number of attempts to retire a question, etc.). The standard settings recommended by Qstream will automatically appear otherwise. The standard settings are shown in the screenshot below.
