We've all experienced it - no matter how many times we provide
[email protected] for customers to whitelist, the activation email sometimes end up in Spam folders or are directly deleted by the recipient! Follow one of the below options to resend the activation email.
Navigation: Users > User List
Resend to a Single User
- Enter the user's first name and/or email into the Search field. The full name/email does not need to be entered.
- Select the user's name to be taken to their show view.
- Confirm the following:
- Email address is correct - if not, select Edit and enter the correct email then Save
- Bounce Lock is set to No - if set to Yes, select Edit and untick then Save
- Block Email is set to No- if set to Yes, select Edit and untick then Save
- Select the green Resend Launch Email.
- Refresh and confirm the email was delivered by scrolling down to the Email Log; sort by date if necessary
Resend to a Multiple Users
In cases where multiple users from a cohort or all unconfirmed users need to be resent the activation email, use the advanced search to locate applicable users.
- Select the down arrow located beside the Search field to open the Advanced Search area.
- In the User Group field (or other pertinent criteria) select the applicable cohort.
- In the Confirmed field select No.
- Select the magnifying icon to perform the search.
- Review the table of returned users to ensure the Bounce Lock and Block Email columns are both set to No.
- Select the box beside the Name column to select all users OR select the box beside the users' name for only those you need to resend to.
- Select the green Resend Launch Email.
- A window will open displaying a preview of the email and a statement telling you how many emails you are getting ready to send.
- Select Confirm or Cancel.
